The national female costume of Panama





The skirt is the national female costume of Panama. The skirt is very special for Panamanian people because the skirt has a lot of special details. The drawstring shirt in wool and topped with speck, although white skirts are traditionally worn without tape speck. The skirt is attached to sabana or shawl. The jewelry is very colorful and includes about nine chains, or a necklace top bone in throat, and various additional elements such as buttons on the waistband, purse, rings and bracelets. the shoes are also decorated with little bells, that can be made of pearl or fish scales, gold combs and thoughts, small patches of gold attached to the temples.
